Megan Sanders-Paulowicz TCRG, ADCRG, BG

Megan started dancing at age 4 under the instruction of Tim O’Hare as one of the original students at the O’Hare School of Irish Dance. Under constant guidance from her 3 older sisters, Megan's competitive spirit and her passion for Irish Dance blossomed at an early age. She competed in her first Oireachtas at age six and placed second in her age group. Over the years, Megan competed in 16 Mid-West Championships, as well as numerous Nationals and three trips to the World Championships.
In 1994, Megan enrolled at Western Michigan University, but shortly thereafter decided that her chosen career would be teaching Irish Dance. She began teaching in ’96 and in ‘99 passed the TCRG exam. In 2007, Megan earned her adjudicating certificate (ADGRC), an accomplishment she is most proud of. Later that year she expanded the O’Hare School to Ann Arbor. In the spring of '24 Megan added the accreditation of grade examiner to her resume, which is signified as BG.
Megan returned to college in 2010 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Eastern Michigan University. She started working in the hospitality industry in 2015 and continues to work and thrive in customer service management. After the sudden passing of Tim in late 2019, the Michigan O'Hare studios were combined and relocated to Livonia, MI. Currently, Megan instructs dancers from Beginner to Adult as well as World Championship caliber students in both Solo and Ceili dancing. The joy of dance, a sense of accomplishment, and her accumulated dance experience and knowledge are gifts she shares with each O’Hare dancer.
